Apple has recently unveiled its latest iPhone model, the iPhone 17e, boasting significant enhancements at an attractive price point. The device is equipped with a speedy A19 processor, MagSafe charging technology, a durable construction, and an impressive single-lens camera. Priced at £599, it stands £200 cheaper than Apple’s flagship iPhone.
Notably, Samsung has also introduced new budget-friendly models, the A57 and A37, starting from just £399. While these phones may not match the performance and charging capabilities of the iPhone 17e, they do feature a 6.7-inch display with advanced 120Hz technology, offering smoother navigation and gameplay compared to the 17e’s 60Hz screen.
The Galaxy A57 and A37 come with notable features such as large 5,000mAh batteries, triple lens cameras, and IP68 water and dust resistance. Samsung has incorporated smart features in these devices, including Google’s Circle to Search for quick web searches and enhanced photo editing tools like Object Eraser and Edit Suggestions for effortless image refinement and sharing.
Moreover, the Voice Transcription feature within the Voice Recorder app enables users to transcribe call recordings and convert voicemail audio into text swiftly, facilitating easy access to important information from various audio sources.
Samsung has committed to providing extended support for the Galaxy A57 5G and A37 5G, promising up to six generations of Android OS and One UI updates, along with six years of security patches. Both models will be available for purchase on Samsung.com starting from April 10th, with the Galaxy A57 5G priced at £529 (256GB) and the Galaxy A37 5G starting at £399 (128GB).
The Galaxy A57 5G will be offered in colors like Awesome Navy, Awesome Grey, Awesome Icyblue, and Awesome Lilac, while the Galaxy A37 5G will come in shades such as Awesome Lavender, Awesome Charcoal, Awesome Greygreen, and Awesome White.
