“Greggs Announces Return of Festive Bake & Vegan Favorites”

Greggs has officially announced the highly anticipated return of its Festive Bake, much to the delight of fans eagerly awaiting its arrival. The bakery chain has revealed that its Christmas menu will be hitting the shelves on Thursday, November 6. For those unfamiliar, the Festive Bake is a delectable pastry filled with succulent chicken, savory sage and onion stuffing, crispy bacon, and smothered in a luscious sage and cranberry sauce.

Described by Greggs as an essential part of the Christmas season, the Festive Bake is likened to the classic socks in a stocking or the infamous office holiday party that never fails to entertain. It has become a beloved holiday tradition for many.

In addition to the Festive Bake, the Vegan Lattice (Festive Edition) will also be making a comeback nationwide. This vegan option features Quorn mycoprotein pieces, sage and onion stuffing, vegan bacon, and is topped off with a cranberry and red onion sauce.

Greggs emphasizes that the Vegan Lattice (Festive Edition) is just as festive and delicious as its counterpart, the Festive Bake, and deserves its own share of the spotlight. Alongside these favorites, customers can look forward to the Hot Christmas Lunch Baguette, offering a convenient on-the-go Christmas dinner experience with its combination of chicken, stuffing, bacon, melted cheddar, cranberry relish, and onion gravy.

The Hot Festive Flatbread is also set to return, featuring a delightful mix of sage and onion chicken mayo, bacon, and cranberry relish encased in a warm flatbread. For those with a sweet tooth, Greggs will be introducing a range of festive treats including the Christmas Cake Slice, Gingerbread Muffin, Chocolate & Hazelnut Doughnut, and Christmas Mini Caramel Shortbreads.

To complement these savory and sweet offerings, Greggs will be serving up a selection of festive hot drinks to keep customers warm during the winter season. Choices include the Mint Mocha, Mint Hot Chocolate, Gingerbread Latte, and Salted Caramel Latte, with the latter two also available iced.

Amid the festive excitement, Greggs has also implemented price adjustments on some menu items due to increasing costs. The two-part breakfast deal, consisting of a roll and drink, has been raised from £2.95 to £3.15, while the three-part breakfast deal, which includes a side dish, now costs £4.15, up from £3.95. Additionally, certain baked goods such as the empire biscuit have seen a price increase of 5p, following the earlier adjustment on the price of the sausage roll to £1.30.

Overall, Greggs continues to delight customers with its festive offerings while adapting to economic changes in the food industry.
