“Black Sheep unveils festive Christmas menu with bold flavors and unique concoctions”

Black Sheep, a coffee chain based in the UK, has unveiled its festive Christmas menu, and I had the opportunity to preview it at a wreath-making event. Known for its 100% speciality-grade Robusta coffee, Black Sheep introduced its Christmas menu on Wednesday, November 5, featuring bold flavors, comforting winter concoctions, and refreshing options.

While sampling the new offerings, I discovered a standout drink that resonated with me – the Mint White Chocolate Chip Matcha, particularly the iced variation. Described by Black Sheep as a blend of “Fresh mint meets creamy white chocolate in this festive twist on a matcha favorite. It’s smooth, sweet, and a little bit cheeky,” this drink won me over despite not being a die-hard matcha enthusiast.

The Mint White Chocolate Chip Matcha reminded me of the Grasshopper cocktail, a mint-flavored after-dinner drink made with crème de menthe, white crème de cacao, and cream. Although typically enjoyed hot, I found the iced version to be the perfect fit for this matcha creation.

Moving on, I savored the Gingerbread Latte, a classic Christmas beverage that instantly put me in the holiday mood. The drink, available in both hot and iced versions, is described as a nostalgic winter treat with “Warming spices and sweet gingerbread syrup stirred into velvety espresso.” The Gingerbread Latte exemplifies Black Sheep’s commitment to exceptional coffee and skillful flavor combinations, enhanced by a delightful topping of whipped cream.

Additionally, we explored the Fuji Apple, Ginger & Caramel Red Bull Infusion, an unexpected addition launched in celebration of bonfire night. Described as a reimagined toffee apple in a drinkable form, this concoction blends juicy Fuji apple, fiery ginger, sweet caramel, and Red Bull to power through the holiday chaos with a unique and invigorating taste.

In addition to the beverages, we sampled the Pigs in Blanket Ciabatta and the Brie & Cranberry Toastie, both offering familiar flavors for coffee chain sandwiches. While enjoyable, these food items were deemed standard fare, with the real highlight being the exceptional lineup of drinks that Black Sheep has to offer this festive season.

Black Sheep Coffee’s Christmas Menu is set to be available at all UK locations starting from Wednesday, November 5.
