Amazon is launching a major free update for Fire TV devices this month, featuring a redesigned interface that promises to be more streamlined, quicker, and better organized. The update introduces new categories for easier navigation of movies, TV shows, news, live content, and sports from all your services. Users can now pin favorite apps to the home screen and access a user-friendly menu system. Moreover, a performance boost of up to 30% is included in this update.
With the upcoming summer of football, Fire TV users will have access to a dedicated football hub to stay updated on match schedules and watch live games through local providers. The enhanced Fire TV experience is currently rolling out to Fire TV Stick HD (newest model) and Amazon Ember Artline devices, with plans for other models like the Fire TV Stick 4K Max to receive the update soon.
Amazon encourages users to restart their devices if they do not see the update yet. Simply go to Settings > My Fire TV > Restart, wait for the device to restart, and check for the new interface. If the update is not visible after the restart, it indicates that the update has not reached the device yet, but it will automatically arrive in the following weeks.
