Sky TV Merges Cinema Channels for Family-Friendly Films

Sky TV customers will notice a significant change in the TV planner starting April 30. Sky has announced a revamp of its Cinema channel lineup, merging Sky Cinema Animation (formerly on channel 312) into Sky Cinema Family on channel 304. This move aims to consolidate family-friendly films in one place for viewer convenience.

Despite the merger, all content previously available on Sky Cinema Animation will still be accessible through Sky Cinema Family. Popular titles like Shrek, The Secret Life of Pets, and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse will continue to be available on the unified channel.

For those who enjoyed Sky Cinema Animation, there is good news. The channel will make temporary comebacks during school holidays, running from July 24 to August 30, October 23 to November 1, and December 1 to January 5. This means kids can still enjoy their favorite films during these periods.

Sky reassures customers that although there is one less channel, the viewing experience remains intact with the same content now available on Sky Cinema Family.
