A popular social media influencer has tragically passed away shortly after her wedding celebration. Adna Rovčanin-Omerbegović, aged 26, suddenly became unwell during the reception held on September 13.
Following the incident, she was swiftly taken to a local hospital in Bosnia. Despite medical efforts, she slipped into a coma and sadly succumbed to her condition on September 15.
Apart from her online content creation work, she was also the proprietor of a salon in Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia. Fans have been deeply saddened by her untimely demise, with heartfelt messages pouring in to honor her memory.
“It is heartbreaking to see young lives cut short like this,” expressed one supporter. Others shared sentiments like “You will always be remembered in our hearts” and “Rest in peace, dear Adna.”
Adna is survived by her husband, four sisters, as well as her parents. The exact cause of her death remains unknown, with an ongoing autopsy aimed at uncovering the circumstances surrounding her sudden deterioration.
The couple tied the knot at the Hollywood Hotel in Sarajevo. Her funeral took place on September 17, with prayers recited at the Mosque of Kobilja Glava. Hundreds of mourners gathered to pay their respects during the wake, as reported by local media outlet Crnu-Hronik.
A close friend reflected on Adna’s compassionate nature, highlighting her dedication as a nurse at the Old City Health Center and her passion for makeup which she pursued as a side endeavor.
While her social media accounts were deactivated posthumously, her wedding photographer paid tribute to her on Instagram Stories, emphasizing her radiant smile as one of the most captivating in Bosnia. Previously, the photographer had shared pre-wedding photos of Adna and her husband Faris.
