According to Ban Mahsoub, Partnerships Director at Tesco Insurance and Money Services, the promotion allows shoppers to earn rewards while giving loved ones gifts during the holiday season. This initiative aims to provide a win-win situation for customers.
Tesco’s Clubcard program, which boasts approximately 24 million members, offers various ways to accumulate points. Customers earn one point for every £1 spent on groceries in-store or online, or for every two liters of fuel purchased at Tesco petrol stations. Additionally, points are rewarded for spending on Tesco Mobile, Tesco credit cards, and using a Tesco Clubcard Pay+ debit card. Clubcard vouchers, redeemable at Tesco, require a minimum of 150 points, equivalent to £1.50.
Furthermore, savvy shoppers like Jordon Cox have shared tips on maximizing savings at Tesco. Cox, known as the Coupon King, revealed a “secret code” system to identify expiring deals at Tesco stores. By decoding the six-digit number on Clubcard Price items, shoppers can determine the deal’s expiry date, aiding in strategic shopping and saving money on purchases.
