During a visit with his wife, Lady Victoria, the Prime Minister met with officers from Greater Manchester Police. He expressed his admiration for the prompt and professional response of the police, emphasizing that it was of the highest caliber.
The attack, carried out by terrorist Jihad Al-Shamie at the Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation Synagogue, resulted in the deaths of worshippers Adrian Daulby, 53, and Melvin Cravitz, 66. One victim succumbed to gunshot wounds following an encounter with armed police.
