A fresh face is hitting the TV judge scene with the launch of a new syndicated courtroom series called “Adam’s Law.” CBS Media Ventures unveiled a trailer for the show starring Adam Levy, the son of the renowned Judge Judy.
Fans of Judge Judy’s sharp wit and no-nonsense approach will likely find a familiar tone in Levy’s courtroom demeanor. The trailer showcases Levy delivering quick-witted and cutting remarks, reminiscent of his mother’s style, earning nods of approval.
Initially hesitant to pass on the judicial torch, Judge Judy humorously admits in the trailer that she wasn’t eager to relinquish her position, especially since she believed her son had the potential to surpass her. Despite her initial reservations, she eventually embraced the idea of Levy taking on the courtroom spotlight.
Set to debut on September 14, “Adam’s Law” marks Levy’s foray into daytime court reality TV under the executive production of Judge Judy herself. With over 25 years of legal experience, including a background as a district attorney, Levy is no stranger to the legal arena.
Judge Judy expresses confidence in her son’s ability to captivate audiences and predicts that “Adam’s Law” will rise to the top as a leading daytime program. The show is slated to air on various CBS-owned stations in the U.S., including CBS LA and WCBS-TV, as well as on Citytv in Canada starting on the same date.
