Google has shifted its strategy by introducing new Pixel smartphones ahead of Apple’s anticipated iPhone 17 release. The upgraded lineup includes the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and the larger Pixel 10 Pro XL with a massive 6.8-inch display.
These new devices feature the advanced Tensor G5 processor for enhanced performance, improved battery life, durable design with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection, and rapid charging capabilities.
The Pro models offer an impressive rear camera system with up to 100 times zoom, enabling high-quality images even in low-light conditions. Additionally, Google’s AI integration and Google Gemini provide smart functionalities for seamless user interaction.
A notable feature called Magic Cue in Google apps offers proactive contextual suggestions for user actions based on detected patterns. The phones also include a Camera Coach feature for real-time photo enhancement and unique functions like Best Take and Add Me for photography enthusiasts.
Furthermore, the new Pixelsnap technology allows easy attachment of wireless chargers and accessories onto the Pixel 10 devices. The Pixel 10 range will be available in various colors, starting from £799.
In addition to the standard models, Google is set to launch the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, a foldable device with an 8-inch Super Actua Flex display. This innovative phone boasts the Tensor processor, extended battery life, fast charging, and a triple-lens camera. Notably, it is the first foldable device to be IP68 dust and water resistant, offering durability.
The Pixel 10 Pro Fold comes in a striking Jade color but comes at a premium price of £1,749. For Apple enthusiasts, Mirror Online predicts the next iPhone reveal to take place on September 9th.
