Sky is currently offering a special deal where selected customers can enjoy a complimentary upgrade, adding 35 additional channels to their viewing lineup without any extra charges. This promotion is available for a limited time until Wednesday, October 16, allowing users with Essential TV packages to access the more comprehensive Sky Ultimate TV package at no additional cost.
The upgraded package includes premium channels like Sky Max, Sky Crime, Sky Documentaries, U&Gold, and Comedy Central, among others. Sky explained in an email to Mirror Online that from October 10 to 16, Essential TV subscribers can enjoy the benefits of Sky Ultimate TV without any extra fees, unlocking over 35 additional channels for viewing.
Viewers can indulge in a variety of shows, such as the final series of Brassic and BAFTA-winning Mr Bigstuff on Sky Max, as well as popular programs like FBI and Fire Country on Sky Witness. The upgrade is automatically applied to Essential TV subscribers’ accounts, requiring no action from their end. Should users wish to continue with the enhanced package after the promotional period, they can do so for just an extra £3 per month.
In addition to Sky, Virgin Media is also providing free access to various channels throughout October, including Sky Kids, Cartoon Network, and Baby TV. This offer allows households to enjoy shows like Pip and Posy’s Spooktacular Party, The Wonderfully Weird World of Gumball, SpongeBob SquarePants, and Peppa Pig without the usual subscription fees, coinciding with the October half-term break.
