Apple has unveiled new products shortly after the debut of the iPhone 17. The tech giant introduced the MacBook Pro M5 and iPad Pro M5 on October 22, showcasing their enhanced speed and power thanks to the innovative M5 chip. These latest offerings are now available for purchase on Apple’s website and Amazon.
The MacBook Pro M5 512GB is priced starting at £1,599, while the 11” iPad Pro 256GB and 13” iPad Pro 256GB are priced at £999 and £1,299, respectively. Apple’s Pro lineup features premium and high-performance devices that attract consumers looking for top-notch products. Many customers opt for monthly payment plans from providers like Sky Mobile and O2 to manage costs effectively, with rates starting at 90p per day.
Sky’s pricing for the 11” iPad Pro M5 begins at £27 per month, equivalent to 90p daily, and goes up to £34 for the 13” iPad Pro M5. These plans include a modest 100MB data allowance. For those planning to primarily use their devices on WiFi, Sky’s £35 monthly plan for the MacBook Pro M5 with a £7 upfront fee could be a budget-friendly option. However, users requiring mobile connectivity may consider upgrading to a Sky eSIM for various data options.
EE offers competitive pricing for the iPad Pro M5 models, allowing customers to spread payments over 3 to 48 months. The 11” iPad Pro M5 is available for £89.92 monthly with a £120 upfront fee, while the 13” iPad Pro M5 costs £112.42 monthly plus the same upfront cost. EE’s 24-month contracts start at £67.50 (previously £75) for the 5GB Essentials plan and go up to £83.70 (previously £92) for the Unlimited All Rounder plan, which includes options like Apple Music or Netflix Standard.
O2 provides various plans for both iPad Pro M5 models, starting from £39.20 per month for the 11” iPad Pro M5 on a 1GB Classic Plan. Heavier data users can opt for the 100GB Plus Plan at £51.20 monthly. The 13” iPad Pro M5 is available at £45.60 per month for the 1GB Classic Plan and £57.60 monthly for the 100GB Plus Plan. O2 also offers extras like Disney+ or Amazon Prime free for up to six months.
Customers on 48-month contracts can separate their airtime plan from the device plan after 24 months. This flexibility allows users to make changes or cancel the airtime plan, potentially reducing costs for those who do not require mobile data. It’s essential to note that most providers increase monthly fees annually due to inflation, impacting the overall cost of long-term contracts.
