An insider revealed that all 15 celebrities, including Skinner, were scheduled to film the launch program for the show, airing on September 20th. The source expressed optimism that Skinner would continue with the show after the previous day’s incident.
During the press interviews, Skinner grabbed a reporter’s phone and left the scene when asked about Strictly Come Dancing, casting doubt on his future on the show. He objected to being recorded during the interview, causing a disruption and leaving his fellow contestant, Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, to handle the interviews alone.
Skinner’s actions triggered calls from fans to have him removed from the show due to his controversial past statements on social media and association with JD Vance, the vice president of Donald Trump.
