In a recent TikTok video, a fast-food enthusiast showcased his unique McDonald’s order by tapping into the ‘secret menu’. The user, known as OmarTheCritic, demonstrated how he customized a Sea and Air burger by combining a chicken and fish patty within a Quarter Pounder with Cheese. This special creation can be achieved by either separately ordering the components and assembling them yourself or modifying a Quarter Pounder with Cheese at the self-service kiosk with additional toppings. Expressing surprise at the taste, Omar exclaimed, “That actually works! All it is missing is some extra sauce, and this thing would be amazing.”
Following this, he indulged in a Chicken Big Mac, which mirrors a traditional Big Mac but substitutes the beef patties with chicken instead. Originally a promotional item tested at select UK branches, the Chicken Big Mac has made a comeback on the menu, alongside other offerings from the Monopoly menu.
Omar praised the Chicken Big Mac, describing it as “way better” while savoring each bite. In response to his video, a viewer noted that the Chicken Big Mac is not a secret menu item and is available to all customers. Another user expressed envy at the availability of the Chicken Big Mac on normal menus in Norway.
Although customers can customize their McDonald’s orders by adding or removing ingredients, the chain does not officially offer a secret menu. ‘Secret items’ are essentially combinations of existing ingredients from other menu items, and while some McDonald’s locations may fulfill unconventional requests, others may require customers to order items separately to create these unofficial menu items themselves.
This revelation follows a former McDonald’s chef, Mike Haracz, sharing the recipe to make the iconic Big Mac sauce at home. Haracz, who previously worked as a corporate chef at McDonald’s, has been divulging insider tips on his TikTok channel, including the ingredients needed for replicating the famous sauce. Social media users have expressed gratitude for the sauce recipe, with many eager to recreate the Big Mac experience in their own kitchens.
