“Dine-and-Dash Drama: Restaurant Exposes Families Over £190 Bill”

A restaurant in Greater Manchester, Sai Surbhi, has publicized surveillance footage of two families who allegedly left without settling their £190 bill, claiming they had no means to pay. The restaurant owners, Raman Kaur and Narinder Singh Athwa, stated that the families indulged in a variety of dishes before departing on August 30.

Reportedly, the group attempted multiple card payments and contacted different individuals for money transfer, ultimately asserting their incapacity to settle the bill. The owners mentioned that despite assurances of repayment the next day, the group has not fulfilled their commitment, causing significant repercussions for the restaurant.

In an effort to alert other businesses, the owners shared CCTV images of the suspected dine-and-dash group on social media. They emphasized the necessity of cautioning establishments about such incidents and urged the public to help notify the customers about their overdue payment.

Raman disclosed that the families had initially called to reserve a table for four but arrived with eight individuals, causing confusion. She expressed the distressing impact of such occurrences, highlighting the shared challenges faced by many in the restaurant industry.

The restaurant owners acknowledged the community’s support and solidarity during this challenging time, thanking everyone for their assistance and encouragement.
