“Amazon Slashes Apple TV & Streaming Prices Up to 60%”

Amazon has reduced the prices of Apple TV, Paramount+, and MGM+ by up to 60% to celebrate the beginning of its latest Prime Day sale. The e-commerce giant launched its new site-wide sales event on June 23, offering subscriptions for various major streaming platforms starting at £2.99.

As part of the sale, Amazon customers can now subscribe to Apple TV for only £4.99 per month, half the original price of £9.99. Subscribers who take advantage of this offer will enjoy the discounted rate for two months, after which the price reverts to £9.99 unless canceled.

Similarly, MGM+, the platform featuring “Project Hail Mary,” is now priced at £2.99 for two months, down from the usual £5.99. Additionally, Paramount+ is available for £2.99 for one month, reduced from £7.99. These discounted rates are valid until July 2 as Amazon kicks off its Prime Day 2026 sale.

During the period from June 23 to 26, Prime members and shoppers on a Prime 30-day free trial can access discounts on thousands of items. Prime Video is also offering free trials for Lionsgate+, Studiocanal Presents, and Crunchyroll.

It’s important to note that the reduced streaming subscriptions and free trials will automatically transition to standard paid subscriptions at the end of the promotional period. Subscribers are advised to cancel before the end of the discounted or free trial period to avoid being charged the standard rate.

In addition to the streaming services, Amazon customers can subscribe to Apple TV via Prime Video for £4.99 per month until July 2. Sky is also providing streaming subscriptions at no extra cost with its TV packages, offering free access to Netflix, HBO Max, and Disney+ to customers signing up for the £24 Ultimate TV bundle, which includes around 135 channels, including Sky Atlantic.

Apple TV boasts a lineup of highly acclaimed titles this year, such as the comedy horror “Widow’s Bay,” which holds a 98% Rotten Tomatoes score. The platform has recently launched the second season of “Sugar,” a neo-noir detective series starring Colin Farrell as private investigator John Sugar.

MGM+ features hit new titles like “Project Hail Mary,” starring Ryan Gosling in a space epic, along with series like Outlander and the James Bond film collection. On Paramount+, members can enjoy series like “The Agency” and “Dutton Ranch,” with the latest episodes available for £2.99 on the platform.
