Ricky Hatton, a renowned boxer from Manchester, was captured in a joyful moment with his daughters and granddaughter shortly before his untimely passing. The 46-year-old was found deceased at his home in Gee Cross, Hyde on September 14, as confirmed by the Greater Manchester Police. The authorities have stated that there is no suspicion surrounding his death.

Known as ‘The Hitman,’ Ricky Hatton’s sudden demise has deeply saddened the boxing community. He is survived by his three children – Campbell (24), Millie (13), and Fearne (12) – as well as his granddaughter Lyla (7).

Ricky became a father at the age of 22 when he had his first child, Campbell, in 2001 with his former partner Claire. Subsequently, he welcomed Millie and Fearne during his relationship with former fiancée Jennifer Dooley.

His granddaughter Lyla, the daughter of Campbell, was born in 2018. Just recently, Ricky shared a heartwarming photo celebrating Lyla’s 7th birthday, where they were seen cuddling together.

In another post last month, Ricky shared a picture with his daughters, Millie and Fearne, during a family outing in Tenerife. Expressing his joy, he captioned the photo with words of love for his daughters.

Apart from his immediate family, Ricky also leaves behind his parents, with whom he had a prolonged estrangement that was reconciled in 2019. Reflecting on the past, Ricky admitted that the rift with his parents had pushed him to a dark place, but he realized the importance of repairing those relationships before it was too late.

Acknowledging that life is fragile and precious, Ricky made amends with his parents, understanding the value of forgiveness and moving forward positively.
