Darts prodigy Luke Littler has expressed confidence in the potential success of Angry Ginge, a participant on the reality show “I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Here.” Littler, aged 18 and a close associate of the online personality Morgan Burtwistle, hinted at a potential future adventure down under.
The Manchester United enthusiast and internet streamer recently touched down at Brisbane airport in anticipation of the show’s debut on November 16. The hosts, Ant and Dec, are set to make a return to ITV screens, with Burtwistle already leading as the frontrunner to claim the jungle throne.
Meanwhile, Littler smoothly advanced to the knockout phase of the Grand Slam of Darts in Wolverhampton, securing a 5-1 victory over Daryl Gurney as he continues to defend his title. While awaiting his next opponent in the Grand Slam, he eagerly anticipates the commencement of the reality series in Australia.
In an interview with SportsBoom, Littler shared his confidence in Angry Ginge’s ability to excel under challenging conditions, stating, “I think he’s going to do very well. I’ve known him for quite some time. We’ll have to support him and see how he handles the challenges.”
Littler himself could be a strong contender for future seasons of the show, although TV executives may need to offer a substantial sum to secure the talented darts player. When questioned about the possibility of joining the jungle adventure, he replied, “Perhaps… If the offer is right. I might consider a brief visit.”
Angry Ginge’s arrival in Australia was marked by a warm reception from fans and journalists before the show’s launch. Despite expressing his fondness for Manchester United and his mother, the 23-year-old humorously addressed concerns about camping and wildlife in Australia, emphasizing the importance of a secure hotel.
In a YouTube video confirming his participation in the reality TV program, Angry Ginge expressed his hope that Manchester United would maintain a strong position in the league during his absence, aiming for a successful return in early December. He humorously remarked, “If you’re watching this, it means I’m officially part of the jungle journey. That’s what I’m praying for. I hope to return with Man Utd in a top position, contending for the title… while our rivals, like Arsenal, face setbacks.”
