Davina McCall Opens Up About Brain Tumor Battle

Davina McCall, a well-loved TV personality, shared her struggles from the past year, expressing gratitude for still being here. Last year, at the age of 57, she underwent surgery to remove a benign brain tumor, prompting her to contemplate her future path.

In April, the former host of Big Brother revealed that her final MRI scan showed a colloid cyst, which was successfully removed in November 2024 and is not expected to return. The cyst was discovered during a routine health check related to her advocacy work on menopause.

Just before her surgery, Davina was emotionally overwhelmed when she received the Special Recognition Award at the 2024 National Television Awards. Recalling the moment, she conveyed how significant the award was to her.

Now, in a healthier state, Davina revisited the awards ceremony, delving into the emotional background behind her tears from the previous year. Reflecting on her journey, she expressed the uncertainty she faced before her surgery and the immense value of the award during that challenging period.

Recently, the Masked Singer star opened up about the impact of her brain tumor on her life and relationships. In an interview with Good Housekeeping UK, Davina shared her deep-seated fear of death and how she and her partner, Michael Douglas, confronted their fears and uncertainties together.
