“EE Introduces Data Parachute for On-the-Go Top-Ups”

EE has introduced new SIM plans to address a common issue faced by many customers: running out of data while on the go. These new pay-as-you-go SIMs from EE come with a feature called “Data Parachute,” providing users with an automatic 1GB data top-up if they unexpectedly deplete their data allowance.

According to EE, the Data Parachute feature aims to keep customers connected, whether for communication with friends and family or navigating using Maps, giving users some extra data to bridge the gap until they can recharge their plan.

Starting at £10 per month, these new plans offer additional benefits such as data rollover, which carries over unused data to the next month, and free data boosts that increase customers’ data allowances. EE pay-as-you-go customers also have access to the 5G network, delivering enhanced performance and faster speeds.

The pricing for these plans is as follows:
– £10 for 20GB
– £15 for 75GB
– £20 for 150GB
– £30 for 200GB
– £35 for Unlimited

While other providers may not offer a feature like Data Parachute, alternative deals in the market include SMARTY’s 80GB for £8 per month or Unlimited for £20, and Giffgaff’s offer of 75GB for £10 per month or 60GB for £13. It is advisable for consumers to compare deals and select a plan based on their actual data usage to manage costs effectively.
