Father Missing for Months Found Dead on Beach

Police have identified the body discovered on a beach as belonging to a father who disappeared several months ago.

TJay Waters was reported missing on March 5, after he was last seen at a Cash Converters store in Southport town center the day before. His mother made a heartfelt plea for his return a month later, urging him to come back home.

Originally from Burnley, TJay resided in Southport before his passing. Merseyside Police has confirmed that a body found on Southport beach on July 13 is indeed TJay, following forensic tests.

The police stated that his family has been informed and is receiving support. Mark Webster also made efforts to locate his friend, creating posters and initiating a Facebook group named “Help find TJay.”

Following the announcement of his death by the authorities, condolences poured in on social media. Many individuals expressed their sadness at the news and shared fond memories of TJay.

Family and friends gathered at the RSPB Marshide site on Southport Beach for a touching vigil in honor of TJay. Tributes, including flowers, photos, and a Liverpool FC scarf, were placed at the site in memory of him.

A close friend involved in organizing the vigil and balloon release expressed gratitude for the attendees, describing it as a fitting send-off for TJay.

In a separate incident, the remains of Jordan Moray, who had gone missing six years ago, were found in a national park. His family confirmed his discovery near the Llwyn On Reservoir. Over the years, Mr. Moray’s family had made multiple appeals for information on his whereabouts.
