Addressing the issue in his column, Jeremy highlighted the concerning trend of food intolerance fraud affecting pub owners, citing an incident where a customer falsely claimed to have suffered due to a mix-up involving beer and cider. He emphasized the detrimental impact of such fraudulent claims on businesses, criticizing what he referred to as “faddy eaters” and jokingly suggesting a ban on individuals with intolerances.

Additionally, the Farmer’s Dog team encountered various unpleasant situations, ranging from disturbing discoveries in the restrooms to disruptive altercations among patrons. Jeremy humorously remarked on the challenges faced by the staff, highlighting the absurdity of potential scenarios they might encounter.
