Lewis Hamilton Mourns Loss of Beloved Bulldog Roscoe

Lewis Hamilton has shared the heartbreaking news of the passing of his beloved bulldog Roscoe. The seven-time Formula 1 champion had been caring for Roscoe since Wednesday when he rushed him to a veterinary clinic after a concerning decline in his health.

Unfortunately, Roscoe’s condition worsened, and on Friday, Hamilton revealed that his dog had slipped into a coma, expressing his fears about his recovery. Hamilton asked for thoughts and prayers from his followers, explaining that Roscoe had developed pneumonia and had difficulty breathing, eventually leading to a coma.

Tragically, Hamilton later announced that Roscoe, believed to be around 13 years old, had passed away. Hamilton expressed his gratitude for the love and support shown to Roscoe over the years, calling him his best friend.

Hamilton had welcomed Roscoe into his life in 2013, and the loyal bulldog had accompanied him to various F1 races, including Silverstone and events across Europe. Roscoe had made a recent appearance at the British Grand Prix in July, standing by Hamilton’s side at a fan event as a Ferrari driver.

Despite his illness earlier in the year, Roscoe had successfully recovered and joined Hamilton at public events. The beloved dog had gained a significant following on his Instagram page, with 1.3 million followers, who mourned his passing.

Hamilton had planned to participate in a Pirelli tyre test in Italy but chose to remain with Roscoe instead. Reserve driver Zhou Guanyu took his place at the test, driving alongside Charles Leclerc.
