McDonald’s has reintroduced its popular Monopoly game for 2025, giving Brits the opportunity to win various top prizes in the upcoming weeks. The special Monopoly menu, which includes both classic favorites and new offerings like the Loaded Caramel McFlurry, is now available at all McDonald’s restaurants.
This UK-based fast-food challenge, initially launched in 2006, mirrors the traditional Monopoly board game and offers two primary ways to win. Participants can either find ‘instant win’ stickers on select food items for immediate prizes or collect different stickers, including properties, which can be scanned and stored in the McDonald’s UK app. Completing a full property set entitles the user to one of the Collect to Win prizes based on the color set completed.
McDonald’s has disclosed that players have a one in four chance of winning an instant prize during the game. Additionally, lucky participants, aged 18 and above, could potentially win up to £100,000 in cash.
According to experts at Martin Lewis’ Money Saving Expert (MSE), there are strategies to enhance your winning odds. MSE recommends being vigilant in distinguishing between ‘rare’ and ‘common’ stickers. They have compiled a list of historically scarce stickers that could be valuable this year.
MSE emphasizes the importance of being observant at McDonald’s locations, as some customers may leave behind stickers on tables from uneaten meals. While taking advantage of unpeeled stickers left by others can potentially boost chances, it is essential to note any terms and conditions regarding such practices.
During the promotional period, MSE advises customers to make informed choices when ordering as not all menu items will have Monopoly stickers. They suggest opting for items with stickers, such as Chicken Selects over nuggets or the chicken version of the Big Mac over the beef option.
