“Plus-Size Fashion Brand Faces Administration Risk”

A fashion brand specializing in plus-size clothing, available at Next and Marks and Spencer, is facing the possibility of going into administration. Live Unlimited has taken steps to appoint administrators, triggering a legal provision that temporarily protects the company from creditor actions for ten days.

According to reports, Irwin Mitchell will oversee the administration process. The Mirror reached out to Live Unlimited and Irwin Mitchell for their input on the situation. Established in 2012 by Rachel Heather and Tracy Egan, Live Unlimited initially started as a small collection before expanding fully in 2017.

The brand recently collaborated with Nordstrom to offer its clothing range, catering to sizes 12 to 28, in the United States. In a separate development, Cefinn, a fashion company founded by Lady Samantha Cameron, wife of former UK Prime Minister David Cameron, is also winding down its operations.

Lady Cameron confirmed that the upcoming winter collection will be the final one for Cefinn. While the physical stores in London will remain operational for the next few months, the brand’s online presence will continue. Lady Cameron expressed the difficulty of the decision, citing mounting costs and challenges in achieving profitability.

Founded in 2017, Cefinn targeted modern women seeking practical yet stylish clothing. Lady Cameron explained that despite recent positive trading results, the current fashion landscape’s complexities and financial pressures led to the closure decision. She expressed hope that Cefinn’s legacy will endure among its loyal followers.
