“Protesters Prepare Frosty Welcome for President Trump in UK”

Thousands of protesters are gearing up to give a chilly reception to President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania as they arrive in Windsor. The Stop Trump Coalition is orchestrating the demonstration to express disdain over the state visit, labeling it as “shameful” and “humiliating” for the UK.

During an appearance on ITV’s Good Morning Britain, Zoe Gardner, a member of the group, criticized UK leaders for allowing “this toddler” to treat the country like a “theme park.” She emphasized the stark contrast between engaging in diplomatic relationships with the United States and hosting Trump in a grandiose manner.

Protests are scheduled to line the streets in Windsor before transitioning to a march in London the following day. Zoe condemned Labour Party’s Sir Keir Starmer for extending the invitation to Trump, deeming it a “catastrophic” misjudgment.

To shield Trump from the anticipated protests, he will be whisked away to Sir Keir’s countryside residence in Chequers, where he will be entertained by the British Army’s Red Devils aerobatics team. The leaders will indulge in a dinner featuring British cuisine and American delicacies, including Dover Sole and key lime pie.

Former chief-of-staff to Theresa May, Gavin Barwell, cautioned against exposing Trump to large protests, suggesting that events be organized away from potential demonstrations. The visit is expected to face significant dissent, with climate change denial and accusations of enabling genocide among the grievances raised by campaigners.
