Saoirse Ronan was seen happily strolling in London with her spouse, Jack Lowden, and their newborn baby. The renowned 31-year-old actress and Jack, aged 35, were out for a walk with their baby in a pram, following Saoirse’s public reveal of her pregnancy at the Louis Vuitton Cruise 2026 event in Paris.
Although the couple had not officially confirmed the news at the time, a source shared that they were thrilled about becoming parents. Saoirse and Jack, who tied the knot in a private ceremony last year after a six-year courtship, were recently photographed enjoying a leisurely walk in a park with their new addition.
During the outing, Jack, known for his role in AppleTV+’s Slow Horses as River Cartwright, affectionately held Saoirse’s hand as they leaned towards each other. The new parents were seen pushing a black stroller while Saoirse sported a loose button-up shirt and white trousers, and Jack embraced the warm weather with shorts and a navy polo shirt.
In online images, Jack was captured pausing to shower attention on their child under the rare sunny skies. Reports from The Daily Mail indicated a slowdown in the production of Pride and Prejudice, where Jack plays Mr. Darcy, due to his new fatherhood status.
According to sources, stand-ins resembling Jack have been used to prevent disruptions in filming. The name and gender of their first child have not been disclosed publicly yet.
Despite her recent motherhood news, Saoirse’s professional life remains active. Her latest project, Bad Apples, premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) without a confirmed wide release date. Based on the book De Oönskade by Rasmus Andersson, the film features Saoirse as Maria, a British teacher entangled in a conflict with one of her students.
