“Sky Announces New Ultimate Plan with Disney+, Netflix & More”

Sky has unveiled an exciting update that is sure to grab attention. The television provider has announced a new subscription package that combines several popular streaming services at a reduced monthly rate. For just £24 per month, both new and existing customers will gain access to Disney+, Netflix, Hayu, and the upcoming HBO Max app.

According to Sky, this bundled offer provides great value for money, offering approximately £20 worth of streaming apps for a lower price. Considering that Sky’s basic plan costs £15 per month, the additional content comes at a mere £9 extra.

Moreover, subscribers to the Ultimate TV plan will enjoy more than 130 channels, including Sky Comedy, Sky Documentaries, Sky Crime, Sky History, and more.

In addition, Sky Cinema users will benefit from a dedicated Disney movie channel integrated into their planner, allowing them to watch Disney blockbusters without needing to open the Disney+ app.

Existing Disney+ subscribers can seamlessly transfer their current plans to Sky, maintaining their profiles and viewing history. All supported apps will be easily accessible from the homepage, offering integrated content for a convenient viewing experience. Users can utilize voice search to find shows and films and save them to a Playlist for later viewing.

The new Sky Ultimate plan will be accessible across Sky Glass, Sky Stream, and Sky Q platforms.

Sophia Ahmad, Sky’s Chief Consumer Officer, expressed that this update signifies a new era for Sky and NOW, bringing together Sky, Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, and Hayu under one subscription. She emphasized the integrated viewing experience and unbeatable value for customers, with HBO Max included at no additional charge for NOW Entertainment customers.

Sky’s focus on innovation continues with this move, aiming to simplify the process for viewers to enjoy premium entertainment in a single location.

Included in the update are Netflix Standard with Ads, Disney+ Standard with Ads (starting in March), HBO Max Basic with Ads (launching in the UK & Ireland on March 26), Hayu (available from July with select shows in March), and over 130 channels from Sky.
