“Sky Revives Sky One with New Shows & Ultimate TV Plan”

Sky has announced upcoming changes to its TV channel lineup, including the closure of Sky Showcase and Sky Max. However, subscribers need not worry as Sky is reintroducing Sky One, set to launch with a variety of comedy and entertainment programs tomorrow. The channel will feature new shows like The Dyers’ Caravan Park and Gemma Collins: Four Weddings and a Baby, alongside returning favorites such as Rob & Romesh Vs.. and The Paper and Ted.

Moreover, Sky One will be home to Saturday Night Live UK, scheduled for a later debut this year. Carli Kerr, MD of Sky TV & NOW, expressed excitement about the channel’s revival, emphasizing its unique offerings of new Sky Originals, returning favorites, and exclusive content like Saturday Night Live UK.

In addition to the channel launch, Sky is introducing a new plan called Ultimate TV, priced at £24 per month. This plan will grant customers access to Disney+, Netflix, Hayu, and the upcoming HBO Max app. Subscribers will also enjoy over 130 premium channels, including Sky Comedy, Sky Documentaries, and Sky Crime. Furthermore, Sky Cinema users will benefit from a dedicated Disney movie channel integrated into the TV guide for seamless access to Hollywood hits.

The Ultimate TV plan includes Netflix Standard with Ads, Disney+ Standard with Ads (starting in March), HBO Max Basic with Ads (available from March 26th), Hayu (from July, with select shows accessible from March), and more than 130 channels from Sky. Subscribers can look forward to a comprehensive entertainment package at an affordable price point.
