A 15-year-old boy tragically lost his life in Manchester after being fatally stabbed in Moss Side. Identified as Mohanad Abdullaahi Goobe, he was known as “the baby of the family.” The incident occurred on Monday at around 4:30pm in the vicinity of Moss Lane East and Monton Street.
Greater Manchester Police have initiated a murder investigation into the attack. Mohanad’s family expressed their devastation, describing him as a beloved son and a younger brother to his siblings. They fondly remembered him as a cheerful and loving individual who had a talent for making others laugh.
The family emphasized Mohanad’s positive qualities and urged others to remember him with love and kindness in their hearts. They refused to let his name become just another statistic in the rising trend of knife crime incidents.
Following the incident, a 15-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of murder and is currently in police custody for questioning. Authorities are appealing for information from the public, including eyewitnesses or individuals with any relevant footage that could aid the investigation.
