“Vernon Kay’s Emotional Farewell on Radio 2 Show”

Vernon Kay got emotional while sharing a heartfelt goodbye message for a team member on his Radio 2 show. The 51-year-old has been hosting the mid-morning program since taking over from Ken Bruce in 2023.

His show is the most popular radio program in Britain, with approximately 6.6 million daily listeners. Despite its success, Vernon announced that there would be changes in the show’s lineup.

During a recent broadcast, he revealed that videographer Chloe would be leaving the program to join BBC Radio One and work with Greg James. Expressing his farewell to Chloe, Vernon praised her two-and-a-half years of dedication and the valuable contributions she made to the team.

Following his touching tribute, Vernon mentioned that Chloe was moved to tears by his words. Vernon will also appear on ITV One with the show “MandS: Dress The Nation,” alongside co-host AJ Odudu.

The show features nine aspiring fashion designers competing for a job at Marks and Spencer. The contestants will create women’s wear pieces, judged by Maddy Evans, Jade Jagger, and the public.

Excited about the show’s second season, Vernon emphasized its impact on changing lives and showcasing talent. AJ added that “Dress The Nation” offers real talent and fashion drama, celebrating creativity and fresh opportunities in the industry.
