Elon Musk Warns of Violence at Far-Right Rally

Elon Musk addressed attendees at a Tommy Robinson rally, warning them of potential violence while denouncing what he referred to as the “woke mind virus” and advocating for the “dissolution of Parliament.” Despite his claims, evidence showed that the violence during the protests mainly originated from the far-right supporters who clashed with police in several locations in Whitehall.

During the rally, Musk emphasized that “violence is going to come to you, you will have no choice,” urging his followers to either fight back or face dire consequences. However, his statements were met with criticism from presenter Sangita Myska, who pointed out that the only violence witnessed at the demonstrations came from far-right individuals posing as patriots.

The Metropolitan Police shared videos depicting clashes between Robinson supporters and law enforcement officers, highlighting instances where officers had to use force to maintain control and prevent breaches of security cordons. Additionally, officers intervened at various locations to prevent clashes between Unite the Kingdom protesters and counter-demonstrators, with reports of officers being assaulted during the incidents.

Elon Musk, known for his involvement in political matters, previously supported Donald Trump for the presidency before their falling out. He has also clashed with Reform UK leader Nigel Farage over the latter’s support for Tommy Robinson. Musk’s appearance at the rally followed former Reform UK deputy Ben Habib’s leadership of Advance UK, a party affiliated with Robinson.

Speaking at the rally, Musk criticized the erosion of British values and governance, highlighting issues such as uncontrolled migration and the failure of the government to protect its citizens, particularly children vulnerable to criminal activities. He called for a new election and expressed concern about the state of the nation.

The rally, which reportedly attracted around 111,000 participants according to the Met Police, marked one of the largest far-right gatherings in UK history. While clashes between Robinson supporters and law enforcement are not uncommon, police confirmed the arrest of at least nine individuals during the recent protests, with similar incidents having occurred in the past.
