Katie Price criticizes her son Junior Andre’s attire at the National Television Awards and urges her children to dismiss their stylist following her disappointment with Princess’ outfit as well.
During the recent episode of her podcast, The Katie Price Show, the former glamour model expressed her disapproval of her children’s NTA ensembles. She advised her kids to let go of the stylist and expressed sympathy for Junior.
“I did mention to them, ‘You need to fire the stylist.’ I felt sorry for Junior. I asked Princess, ‘What was he wearing?’ It seemed like a costume,” she remarked.
Katie also mentioned her dissatisfaction with Princess’ appearance, deeming it too mature for the 18-year-old. She drew a comparison between her daughter and former Love Island contestant Maura Higgins. “I told Princess, ‘Your dress wasn’t to my liking either. It was too mature for you.’ Look at Maura Higgins, she looked fantastic!”
Continuing, she criticized the choice of stylists for her children, emphasizing that they might be suitable for a photoshoot but not for a red carpet event. “The outfits were simply inappropriate,” Katie added.
This occasion marked the first time Princess and Junior attended an event without their celebrity parents. They graced the red carpet following Princess’s individual reality show, The Princess Diaries, which prominently featured their father, Peter Andre, and included appearances by Junior but not Katie.
On the red carpet, Junior and Princess disclosed to the media that they had requested their parents not to join them at the NTAs. “We value family time, but this is our moment,” they explained.
Speculation has arisen regarding Katie’s absence from the NTAs and Princess’ reality show. Katie and Princess have had public disputes in the past, notably when Katie missed her daughter’s 18th birthday celebration. In a previous podcast episode, Katie alleged, “Everyone knows she’s filming this documentary – and I’m not in it.”
She blamed Peter Andre for her exclusion, stating, “The reason is because Pete doesn’t want me around since I’m his ex. Well, we need to face some truths; when the kids grow up and get married, will he still maintain the same stance that only one parent can attend? Because I disagree.”
Princess later refuted any feud, contradicting her mother by indicating that she would not attend if Peter were present. Katie also contradicted herself in the podcast, mentioning that she frequently sees Princess but does not publicize it. “With Princess, I spend time with her regularly. I don’t need to document everything,” she clarified.
