Former “EastEnders” star, Danniella Westbrook, is venturing into a new role as a celebrity agent. Westbrook, aged 51, is launching her own talent management company, W1, in early 2026, with a lineup of well-known personalities already signed up.
Her impressive clientele includes boxers, reality TV stars, and actors. Westbrook expressed her excitement about this career move, stating that she has always been approached for industry advice, making this transition a natural step for her after years of contemplation. She emphasized her passion for the field and her intention for this venture to extend into her later years.
With a commitment to providing comprehensive support to her clients, Westbrook is going above and beyond. Drawing from her own career beginnings at 15 and the challenges she has faced, she recognizes the need for more assistance in the industry.
In an interview with the Daily Star, Westbrook highlighted the lack of available support in the industry and outlined the services her firm would offer, including access to an accountant and a therapist available around the clock.
Additionally, Westbrook hinted at a potential return to reality TV, expressing interest in joining the next series of “I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! All Stars.” She shared her changed mindset and willingness to participate again, reflecting on her past experiences and personal growth.
Notably, Westbrook revealed her one condition for a potential return to “EastEnders” – the opportunity to have her character, Sam Mitchell, take control of the Queen Vic. She emphasized the importance of strong matriarchal characters in the show and suggested that her character running the iconic pub could inject new energy into the BBC drama.
Having portrayed Sam intermittently for over three decades, Westbrook believes that her character’s presence at the Queen Vic would bring about dynamic storylines and fresh perspectives to the series.
Westbrook’s last appearance on “EastEnders” was in 2016, following multiple stints between 2009 and 2010, cut short due to personal challenges affecting her work. She sees the recasting of her character as a blessing in disguise, acknowledging the struggles she has faced and the growth she has undergone.
