In the final showdown, Canada took an early lead and maintained their control throughout the game, eventually securing the title in Takasaki with a decisive 20-10 win over Japan. Russell’s outstanding performance throughout the tournament earned her the Takasaki MVP title, leading in player value (45.3) and drives (12), and ranking second in total points (32) and highlights (17).
