“Darts Prodigy Beau Greaves Eyes Premier League Spot”

Darts prodigy Beau Greaves expressed her willingness to accept a spot in the prestigious Premier League if the opportunity arises. Following her victory over Luke Littler en route to the World Youth Final last month, the 21-year-old has garnered increased attention.

Renowned five-time world champion Raymond van Barneveld has suggested that an impressive performance at the upcoming PDC World Championship could secure Greaves a place among the eight Premier League players. In 2025, Luke Humphries emerged victorious in the series, with other players like Stephen Bunting, Gerwyn Price, Rob Cross, Nathan Aspinall, Michael van Gerwen, and Chris Dobey joining him.

Despite her doubts about an imminent Premier League spot, Greaves expressed excitement at the prospect. She appreciated the praise she has received, stating, “It’s just nice – they don’t have to say that sort of stuff. It’s sweet for me. I watched all these players growing up.”

Regarding her recent win over Littler, Greaves acknowledged the confidence boost it provided, mentioning, “When I beat Luke, it did give me a big confidence boost.” She is now gearing up to face Michael van Gerwen in their opening group match at the Grand Slam of Darts in Wolverhampton, aiming to challenge preconceived notions about women in darts.

With a newfound belief in her abilities since obtaining her Tour Card, Greaves emphasized her readiness to compete against anyone. She highlighted the importance of enjoying the game and not succumbing to pressure.
