Celebrity Traitors standout Joe Marler has disclosed that he and his partner, Daisy, were impacted by the passing of Daisy’s grandmother during the production of the hit series.
In a recent revelation, the 35-year-old shared how the heartbreaking news influenced his initial choice to exit the show, only to be persuaded by his wife to remain. He attributed the sad event as a driving force behind his notably confrontational and controversial behavior during the show’s discussions.
“Daisy’s grandmother passed away midway through filming,” Marler recounted to The Times. “The producers were aware of her terminal illness, so I informed them that I was quitting.”
Initially set on leaving, Marler had a change of heart when Daisy encouraged him to persevere despite the circumstances. This moment marked a turning point for him, shifting his mindset to embrace the challenge with renewed vigor.
