“Little Mix Star Jade Thirlwall Confirms Reunion Plans”

Jade Thirlwall, a 32-year-old singer who rose to fame as part of the popular girl group Little Mix on X Factor in 2011, has confirmed plans for a reunion of the iconic band. Alongside Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, and Leigh-Anne Pinnock, she was a key member of one of the UK’s most successful girl bands.

After the group disbanded in 2022 following Jesy’s exit, Jade embarked on a thriving solo career, achieving two Top 10 singles and winning the Best Pop Act at the 2025 Brit Awards. Despite her individual accomplishments, Jade remains resolute about a future Little Mix reunion.

In an interview with Capital Buzz, the singer expressed her unwavering commitment to making the reunion happen, emphasizing her patience for the process. This week marked the release of Jade’s debut album, “That’s Showbiz Baby,” featuring hit tracks such as “Angel Of My Dreams,” “Midnight Cowboy,” “Fantasy,” and “Plastic Box.” The album’s launch precedes her upcoming solo tour across the UK and Ireland starting in October.

In a surprising move, Jade hosted a spontaneous gig at the Angel of the North in Newcastle to celebrate her album release. Clad in a Newcastle United football jersey, she entertained over 1,000 fans with a set of five songs performed from a converted metal food truck. Despite causing traffic disruptions due to limited public transportation, supporters showed up in full force, showcasing their enthusiasm for Jade’s music.

Jade’s track “Angel Of My Dreams” has been pivotal in propelling her solo career, amassing over 215 million streams across her discography. She recently shared her ongoing struggle to resist the use of Ozempic for weight management, citing her history of battling eating disorders as a deterrent against the medication.
